Check out what’s going on in downtown Blacksburg this July 4th:

• 2 pm: Downtown Parade runs from Old Blacksburg Middle School down Main Street to the Virginia Tech Alumni Mall. The Mount Tabor Ruritan Club is sponsoring the parade for the 26th year!
• 4 pm: Field of Dreams at The Lyric
• 6 pm: Blacksburg Community Band, Blacksburg Community Strings and Celebration Chorus at Municipal Park
• 8 pm: The Meter’s Running Band featuring the Big Dog Brass at Municipal Park
• 9:30 pm: Fireworks
