green building behind the walls tourThere’s a lot of buzz about green building these days, and sometimes it’s hard to figure out exactly what’s fluff and what’s the real deal. Green Valley Builders (GVB) to change that, by giving the general public a sneak peak at what goes on during construction.

So we’re holding a walking tour to show you the ins and outs of green construction by looking at two homes: one in construction before the drywall goes up, and one that is complete. Each home is built to meet ENERGY STAR and EarthCraft certifications. We’ll show you the stuff that goes on behind the walls, plus all the cool finishes, fixtures and appliances that we look for in our new homes.

Afterwards you can join our neighborhood block party, where we invite you to come hang out for refreshments, meet the neighbors and ask questions of our speakers.
