Winter may be a great time to hibernate indoors to stay warm, but according to the EPA, indoor air is typically more polluted than the air outside. Here are three tips to maintain the quality of the air in your home:

  • Change filters every 3 months or when they become dirty, whichever comes first.
  • Clean and freshen the air with non-toxic products. Here’s a link to making your own natural cleaners at home
  • Regularly clean, dust and vacuum to reduce allergens such as dust mites, pet hair and dander.
